Chair’s Letter – FY 2016 Budget Letter
The following letters from the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations (LCAO) urge Congress to adopt fiscal solutions that would strengthen the financial and health security of older adults, and to reject proposals that would worsen the already fragile economic and health status of older Americans and their families in the FY 2016 Budget.

Letter on POTUS FY 2016 Budget – Medicare Proposals
This letter urges the President to abstain from including certain proposals in the FY2016 budget, namely those included in past budgets that would shift additional health care costs to people with Medicare.

The letter urges the completion of an omnibus spending bill in the lame-duck session for Labor-HHS-Education funding, to include funding for Older Americans Act programs to pre-sequester FY 2010 levels and related funding requests deemed the highest priority by LCAO.
